NFC Writing Instructions

How to Program an NFC Tag

  1. Install an NFC writing app such as NFC Tools on your phone.
  2. Choose Write.
  3. Add a record.
  4. Choose URL or URI.
  5. Paste the CTSO WorkReady NFC URL.
  6. Write the tag.
  7. Test by tapping your phone to the tag.
  8. Do not lock the tag until you are sure the URL is final.
Warnings

Do not write real student information to the NFC tag. The tag should only contain the CTSO WorkReady site URL.

Do not use 127.0.0.1 on an NFC tag. A phone cannot use your computer’s localhost address. Use the public Render URL for the focus group demo.
